Choices
Choices. Everyone has choices. Life is all about the choices you make. Where those choices lead you is all up to you. If the choice you made is not taking you where you want to go, then change the direction and make a new choice. We are human and sometimes our choices will lead us into a situation that we do not want, but nothing says we can not correct our mistakes. Even choices made when we are young and think we know everything can lead us down a path that is totally destructible to us, but we can change it. We can move forward from that mistake and hopefully correct the decision that totally screwed up our lives. Once the realization hits that where you are at is not where you want to be, then take that step to try and correct it. It can be done. Sometimes that first step is a very hard one because you do not know what will happen. Will things get worse? Can I fix this mess I am in? Yes, you can. It is not easy. You might get slapped in the face with a reality that what you did also messed up someone else's life to the point they felt they had nothing left either. You might get a response of total contempt because of how bad it affected their life as well, and they can not get over the depth of the hurt you caused them. On the other hand, you may end up with the best thing that has ever happened to you in your entire life. And because of the mistakes made along the way, you will appreciate the second chance at total happiness. Life can be redirected, course can be changed. It just takes you be strong enough to admit that the mistakes were your fault and own up to them. You will become a stronger person for taking that step and making things right. Believe in yourself and then believe in those that hold your heart. Only then will your life be what you hoped it would be all along. Only then will you find that love that totally consumes you to where the only thing important to you is making that person totally happy. Only then will your heart be free to beat as one with your soul mate, for everyone has that one special person who can become your soul mate for life. That one person who means the world to you, the one you want to share everything with. That one who want to share everything with you. Whtwolf

Please Save Us!
A wolf once roamed the wild,
free to do as she pleased;
Seeking and searching for what
she did not know.
So much had changed over the years,
the woods were smaller,
The food was scarce
and no one from her pack was near.
They had to travel
far and wide,
Just to catch some prey
to feed them the next day.
She searched everywhere
for something more;
A sign of a better way
to lead her pack each day.
As the sun went down
and the moon arose,
She headed back to
feed those that were close.
With head held high
and eyes on the sky,
She prayed to the Great One
"please don't let my pack die".
We are but few,
the proud and strong,
We are but few
to carry on.
The wolf pack is all
thats left,
Thanks to the ranchers and others
who kill but not for our flesh.
They kill for nothing,
they kill for fur,
They kill for sport
and leave us to rot on the dirt.
Our young must see this
and yet they pray,
That you will say
"enough of this and lead the hunters away.
free to do as she pleased;
Seeking and searching for what
she did not know.

Our World
As I ponder on the road I have traveled in my life, I have come to the realization that my path could have been very different if I had listened to my inner spirit. This world we live in can be very harsh and unforgiving and we seem to allow it to control us. We give in to the demands of our lives on the premises that we have to have this to survive. Yet, our ancestors had less than we did and they survived just fine. They did not need the objects of our civilization we have now to exist. This world that belonged to others before us was clean and pure in a sense that the Native Americans who lived here lived off the land. They only used what they needed for survival and used it wisely. They respected the land and each other. A tribe not only consisted of many families but in a sense was a family in itself. The ways of the white world that was brought with the first settlers was only the start of the destruction of this world that was once free of chemicals and pollutions that could kill. The diseases they brought would eventually wipe out all but a few of each tribe in this great nation. Civilization is still wiping out the people of this world. In a off chance that they can better our technology or life itself, they are polluting the atmospheres, the waters, and even the ground itself. The builders are destroying the trees, the wildlife, and the sacred grounds of those before us, all in the name of civilization and money. If I had to choose between living with today's technologies or living off the land with my ancestors, I would choose the Native Americans and living off the land. They respected each other and the world they were given. They deserved better than they got. Civilization is just a word, civilized is just a figment of the word. Life is what you make it, your inner spirit is what is given to you at birth to guide you,whether you listen to it or not , it stays there and eventually you will hear it.
