Its summertime in Florida. Time to sit around in the evening on a Saturday night with the family and friends. Got that bonfire blazing to new heights. The stereo is cranking out the tunes of all three generations sitting around that fire. Stories of the growing up years being stretched one more time. The grill is sending out smoke signals to everyone that its job is almost done. Got the basics on it too: burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and ribs. Something for every body's taste. And you know its good because the same hands that's fixed it all the other times is doing it again, after all, why ruin a good thing, right? Covered dishes line a table under the big oak and the chairs are scattered around between the table and the fire. Horseshoes clank in the background as someone yells they got a ringer. Kids are playing the old faves of freeze tag and hide-n-seek. As the dinner call is made , everyone gathers around the tables to hold hands and bless the food and families there with a prayer of thanks. Now as the evening birds start to sing , the circle of life around that fire settles in to enjoy the feast and the fellowship of loved ones.
